Go to chooser>appleshare and go through the steps necessary to connect to a server. Then, a list of servers should come up with check boxes next to them. Uncheck any that are checked. That should do the trick. The check is there to tell it to connect to that server at startup time.

This screen-grab is from footage from an NTSC Canon XL2 with the stock 20x lens zoomed about 1/3 (55mm?)and F1.8. notice that white glow around the dark V of the man's collar. What is causing this? I've noticed it in other footage from that camera, too. The 1st picture is slightly blown-up the 2nd isn't, and they are both taken from the same frame.

Yes. Just run the Bootcamp Assistant again to get rid of it.

when i run bootcamp it is not listing a partition for windows at all, this was the way i removed it previously

What application do you use to render those frames? Is that application multi-core and multi-thread compatible?

I use Lightwave 9.6 and perhaps Lightwave 10 in the near future. I use Digital Performer 7 and allot of virtual instruments with high processing effects. I am also getting Final Cut X when it comes out in June. It's hard to know with cinibench what they are using to get the speed performance they are getting. I also heard a guy from Newtek tell me that the xx55 computers are much faster with radiosity in the 3D then the xx53 and xx54s from 2008 and 2009. I'm just so confused but so in need of a fast computer for my business.

Hi,
I dragged the map view into my application and saw that there is no roads on something else in israel,it's totally blank but when I use the google maps application on the iphone I can see roads,buildings etc in Israel.

Why it's happing?

Hi!

I recently sold my MacMini. It was registered to my name and I could see it on my registered product list.
Now however it is not showing up there anymore and says it is registered under other ID if I enter the serial number.
It is ok with me of course, just wanted to know how the buyer could re-register it without letting me know it :)

I gave him the proof of purchase and wiped the HDD before selling it.
So when he reinstalled OSX and started it for the first time there probably showed up that registration screen...did it allows to re-register users in Apple's database just so simply under another name?

Just asking this because I am willing to understand how that works.

I would if I could... the content renered out by the application has the requirement to look as best as possible on ANY browser - this unfortunately includes the IE5.2

i found a workaround to get work - without any mouseover effect but the purple blocks are gone. it's made with a special IE5.2 css-filter:

Drove by Westworld at 8pm and they were closed, Simply Computing had OPEN sign displayed but don't think there's many people shopping there. Those two stores are simply a case of Dumb and Dumber. Vancouver needs an Apple store or at the very least a better reseller. I'd rather give my money to Best Buy or even Future Shop.

I'm using SimpleViewer's (http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/) code to display Flash galleries on my site.

The catch is, I made a test gallery a few days ago, and some of my friends told me the images were a bit distorted when they viewed them - even though the images looked perfect on my display. They were on Macs and PCs both, on a variety of browsers.

I've uploaded a gallery of a photo shoot I just did with my girlfriend, and again the gallery looks great on my display.

I just wanted to see if a few folks could look at my gallery, and tell me if the images are looking as sharp as they should.
