Hey I have a Apple Bluetooth Mighty Mouse and a Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard. They both have not been used very much and are in great condition. Both are wireless and I want $40 for the keyboard and $55 for the Mighty Mouse OBO. The keyboard is the old white one with the full numberpad. PM me with any questions or offers.
Thanks for looking
I can post picture later if you want.
Dibs on the keyboard pending the picture. Please post the pic if you can since I dont know what the old model looks like.
Thanks

Look at this crazy level hack someone made for the original Mario Brothers! It was a link from Digg Videos, and it's quite long, but it is the most ridiculously hard level I've ever seen in my life.
Just watch.

Howdy...
I've got a 2009 Mac Pro and I have all 4 of my Hard Drive bays filled currently with a mixture of 1TB and 2TB drives. I wanted to start swapping some of my smaller 1TB drives for some of the new larger 3TB drives. I went on NewEgg and was reading that certain operating systems are having a hard time addressing drives with over 2 TB of storage (the system only sees 2.12 TB or something like that of a 3TB drive). Has anyone had luck installing a 3TB drive in a Mac Pro and had the system recognize the entire disk? If so which brand and are you happy with it? I'm running Snow Leopard with all the most recent updates.
I also run my large iTunes library and store quite a few files on my boot drive, and while everything seems to run efficiently I've heard from some people that booting with ONLY the operating system from a SSD really makes the experience snappy. Wondering if anyone out there does this and how they like it.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

"Apple does not support Flash because it is so buggy..." - Steve Jobs 1/30/10
So - are we really surprised? Is Adobe just "lazy" or did they cut their QA department? Maybe Safari does not have a significant enough market share to warrant QA testing?
The world may never know.
Safari may not have a market share as big as Firefox if we look at all operating systems combined, however I would bet that Safari is the most used browser on Mac OS X.

Thanks for the link... you said you buy all your 3TB drives from him but have you installed them in a Mac Pro and do they show the entire hard drive as usable space?

Hello,
I have a very strange problem. I have 3 Macs. All worked fine with SMB shares. Until a few days ago. My newest iMac won't connect to my SMB server share anymore.
It shows up in the Finder Shared section. When I try to connect it just keeps "Connecting...". When I press "Connect As..." it does show the login window, but when I fill in my login info and press Connect it just freezes the Finder window. It becomes totally unresponsive and get's drawn improperly. I will have to restart Finder using "killall Finder" using the Terminal.
If I try to navigate to the Network section in Finder, it just freezes again. I will have to reboot my iMac to acces the Network section again.
When trying to connect to the server manually using "smb://192.168.1.110" it says: There was an error connecting to the server. Check the server name or IP address and try again. If you are unable to resolve the problem contact your system administrator.
But I can ping the server using the Terminal, so the connections are not blocked completely.
First I suspected the server. So I tried connecting to it using my other Macs. It worked perfectly on those. So it's clearly some problem on that iMac.
Workgroups are all the same.
Is there some way to reset the iMac's sharing settings? Does it keep a cache or something?
I cleaned the Mac using Onyx and CleanMyMac. But nothing helped.
Also searched the internet on similar problems, but nothing exactly like this.
I hope someone can help me.

The G3s are also notorious for their GPUs separating from the logic board.
On the G4s it's a different chip but still basically the same concept. There is a little chip that had developed micro fractures causing the same symptoms.

Considering single proc G4 powerbooks, ibooks, mini's, and eMacs are running Tiger I'd say yer fine. ;)
BTW, the dual 1ghz Quicksilver was the last one. If you have a dual 1.42ghz you have a MDD (mirror door drive). :)

Thanks for replying. I think you understand what i'm trying to do, except that i'm adding the subview in code rather than the IB.
if I add the button to the main (parent) view then it will be hidden behind the added view, surely?
Also the button is just an example. The real UIView has an indeterminate amount of controls added at runtime. I'm basically mimicking a menu system of a medical monitor.

I was planning to go to Macline on Friday evening... Do you know if they organize something special?
As far as i know they'll be starting to sell leopard at 18:00h, without any further shebang. There should be some combo promo's however, maybe to clear some shuffle stock.

i guess thats your problem ---->rEFIt which needs to be installed when using linux via bootcamp and it alters the EFI and the MBR , so by just removing the linux partition you caused a bit of a chaos
removing rEFIt might sort your problem now if you are lucky ..but i doubt that
http://refit.sourceforge.net/doc/c1s3_remove.html
if unlucky a clean install of OSX and windows7 might be your only option and then just use your backups ,timemachine and whatever you used to backup windows..

oh ok, so if i bout the new cisco 3000 then i can use it and sell my aebs! might have to go that route!
I have no idea. "Cisco 3000" yields several different search results. Despite that, I still have no idea what you want to even do- you seem to be working off a major misconception. Buying another router won't magically turn a router into a modem. Your AEBS is a router that works just fine.

My personal opinion is they are not working on unlock at all. Some of the tweets the dev-team members have made, specifically comex, give me the impression they are losing interest in jb and unlock activities. It was a challenge and interesting at one time but it's turned into boring, grunt work. They've posted almost nothing about jb for the iPad2 either. Perhaps this team of programmers/hackers has decided it's about time to move on to other challenges. Again, just my opinion.

You're editing with a PAL frame size at an NTSC frame rate... fix that... PAL 720x576 @ 25fps or NTSC 720x480 @ 29.97fps

There is a tutorial around the web for doing this with Adobe Flex for free. Though all of these rely on Flash so no SEO at all.
Next up is have a look for jQuery page flipper, i've seen a few effects built ether in the canvas or with jQuery and these are much more SEO friendly and also free if your willing to put in the work to follow the tutorials and documentation.
The flash=No SEO isn't as true anymore as long as it's built properly, google can index flash now; but you don't get the SEO value of h tags with flash.
JQuery Page Turn:

Yes, Movie playlists are allowed.
You can go even farther with changing the Media Kind property of a movie. Select a movie in your Library and open the Get Info window. Switch over to the Options Tab, and you'll see an option for Media Kind; it'll probably say Movie, but will allow you to change it to Podcast or TV Show.
You can use this to put all the episodes of one TV show episodes apart from others. Go to the Video tab on those and, after setting the Media Kind to "TV Show", change the "Show" field to the name of the television show, and voila! Those movies are now episodes of that TV show, and now show up in the TV Shows portion of the Library, grouped automatically under the show's name. They will also show up in the TV Shows menu of any iPod you sync the shows to.
Your school/science videos are best put under Podcast; you can group those by subject, using the technique above. Once done, those will show up in the Podcasts portion of the Library.

I'm assuming you are going to get a laptop, and Apple doesn't have very many options once the computer is built. I would post what you are going to use your computer for, and then get advice on which options add to your computer. Once you have it built, your pretty much limited to upgrading the RAM, and if you just buy a gig you can't really go wrong.
I would just skip the book, and get advice from this site.
