That was an April fools joke, if you didn't already know.
Where is it still the 1st April at this time of the day?

I think I might go for the NUDE. Slim, nice-looking and fitted so that I can place it in my soun dock. The rebel touch looks thick to fit into my sound dock.

I don't think so.
Yesteday I was in Amazon looking for cases, and I searched iFrogz ones.
There were some bad reviews, like case broke about a month after buying it.
He was asking about Screenshields I think. But I like the cases nonetheless lol

Im running a mac mini late 2009 2.26 ghz 4gb ram, and my istat pro is reading 3.9 million page ins since i restarted this morning. I use my mac for web surfing, music, 1080p video/netflix, gaming (WoW).
Is this normal? Will this hinder performance?
Thanks!

Have you set up your Gmail account for IMAP access?

There is a ton of information about setting up Apple Mail with Gmail out there on the interwebs. Try Google if you have specific questions. I'm sure it's been asked before.
Yes. I know how to set up an email client. I've done it dozens of times in Windows. I just can't get it to work.

It's definitely a typo one that's made it's rounds I have to say. There have been several sites advertising the new Dual/DDR/1.5Ghz machines. For some reason it's really easy to leave out the 2.

I have read a few places that people have been successful going up to 4gb of ram in the mid 07 mini but as per apple's specs the max you can put in is 2gb.
My question is has anyone upgraded their 07 mini to 4gb and did you have any issues running?

You don't even need to call. You can register when you install or start OS X for the first time.
You mean re-register which results in owervriting my old registration on Apple's servers?
That's probably what happened if it works like that cause I viped the drive before I sold it.
Thank's for all the previous answers :)

What would Mr. Anderson do if his son lost the remote to that stereo?
Starting a thread about it would only be the beginning.... *shakes head*

Don't. The original reply was right - you should use Spotlight for searching system-wide.
Setting a depth of infinity in the Catalog will cause Quicksilver to slow down considerably. Put the folders you most access there, and set a depth of 0, 1 or 2.

Hi All, this is my first post here, so I hope this is the right spot!
I (poorly) replaced my iPhone 3gs's battery today. Upon reassembling the phone, I plugged it in to my PC so that it could begin charging. The battery meter showed 3%, but it wouldn't advance past that and after a few minutes, the phone would reboot.
I thought that something probably wasnt tightened enough so I opened the phone back up, reseated the battery (which was slightly off), and put everything back together, ensuring that all connections were tight. During this process, I lost the 2 long screws that hold down the right side of the communications board.
Now the phone will turn on briefly when plugged in to the wall only, show 100% battery, then reboot.
I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks

I'm trying to find a way to play a VC-1 encoded video stream on a Snow Leopard system.
Google tells me, manually installing Flip4Mac and the outdated Quicktime Pro v7 could work. Both are not really welcome on my system, so I'd like to find a way to play VC-1 encoded video by other means.
Has anyone found a way to accomplish this... or maybe a way to convert the stream (on mac!)?

I don't think apple will ad alot of M$ Office compatibility, I think they'd rather rely on M$ Office or make the push to seperate themselves from relying on M$ .

Walked up at 9:45, less than 10 people in line. They had 64GB wifi both colors, sounded like they had many others. Let's just say I didn't see anyone in line walk away disappointed. They said the last couple days have been really good for shipments
