I have to say, I do like the simplified version of the logo that Apple are now using on their website and Apple TV - when do you think this will come across the the other iOS devices?

Hey, each of us knows something, but none of us know everything. Good luck on your web programming job. I'm new to the database arena, and so I'm learning new things there as well. :)

The impact is overpriced. If you want an otterbox get a commuter.
If you want a silicone case there are cheaper and similarly designed cases from other manufacturers. Check out silicone cases from Incipio, Switcheasy and Belkin.

I think I'm just going to take a risk and stop by this one later in the day (or at least call around 10 and see if they ran out...my guess is they won't have). If they're out, I can try the one on University as well as the ones in the city since I have to go back up eventually anyway.

Hi,
I went back to the shop with the Quad. Logic board (slot 0) was broke. They replaced the computer immediately. Good service.
Now I have a good working Quad. Great machine so far.
Thank you, CanadaRAM, for the suggestions.

IMAP doesn't sync contacts - you can use your exchange setup to sync mail, contacts, and calendars (and I believe notes, not 100% on that one), is there a reason why you wouldn't do that?
Exchange wont do notes nor will it allow you to change the delete button to archive. I guess I'll just leave it as it is as it's working fine - I just wondered if I was missing some way to sync contacts via IMAP.

FWIW, I purchased a cheap $25 SATA enclosure, removed the drive, installed in the enclosure and connected back to the MP....works perfectly.

This would sound very much like a logic board problem, then, if you have two memory sockets that do not register regardless what RAM is installed in them.
AppleCare time...
Also sloppy on the shop's part not to check the total memory before shipping.
I would push them for a DOA replacement, not a warranty. Possibly it is their fault as well... you don't want to get into a p!$$!#& match with Apple about who did what to the machine. If you bought the G5 from the same shop who installed the RAM, tell them you want a new machine because this one's DOA.

Yeah I downloaded it a few days ago, at first glance I had/have no clue how to work it. I suppose I will fiddle with it some more, thanks.
It's quite easy to work out, at least for me.
Maybe the following might help:

The title pretty much says it all. I am currently using a jailbroken iPhone 4, although I only have a few minor things really (biteSMS, LockInfo's InfoShade and notification icons, Weather Icon, stuff like that). I'm creating an iPhone app for a school project and I'm almost done... Now I've decided I'd like to submit it to the App Store.
So my question is... Once I buy the $99 membership, will I be able to test the app on my phone without any problems? It's just a simple tableView app, if that makes any difference.
Basically I just want to test it on my phone, then submit it to the App Store just like normal. When I try to search for this subject on Google, all I get is stuff about bypassing the App Store... talking about manually signing, etc... and that's not what I want. I just want to officially submit an app, and also put that app on my phone, without doing any "workarounds" or anything abnormal.
Thanks!

Apple is anti-jailbreak, as you've learned the hard way; when you jailbreak your iDevice, you don't ever want to update it through iTunes.
If you can restore or start new from within iTunes, then I'd recommend giving Apple a call.

Hey Guys! I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.1 and I have used my given share of data from the service provider. I would like to know if there is any way around to use internet tethering without getting any additional data charge. Thanks.

2Tb is the limit in PPC macs.
That is false information (as 300D would say ;) :p :D)
2TB is limit of APM, not PPC. AFAIK SATA controller doesn't have a drive size limit.
Over 2TB you need to use GPT. Any OS X up from 10.4.6 is able to partition, mount, read and write GUID. No matter if it's on PPC or Intel Mac. PPC won't only boot off GPT partition.
OP, you should be able to use 3TB HDD in G5 for all but booting purposes (i.e. storage, backup, scratch etc) in OS X 10.4.6 + or 10.5.
