Hey there,
I'm selling because I'm totally portable now (loaded 15" Powerbook!) I have a 989 feedback rating on Ebay if you need selling references. Everything works perfectly -- no dead pixels etc.
$2200 for the Powermac + AppleCare
$1050 for each 23" Display.
$4200 for the set.
It's on craigslist right now (hoping for a local quick buyer) but it will go to Ebay Tuesday morning if no one bites. Thanks!!!

Panther is what sold me on the Mac. I bought my first Mac, the 1Ghz eMac (ATI Graphics) (http://apple-history.com/body.php?page=gallery&model=emac_ati&sort=date&performa=off&order=ASC) about a week later.

upped them to flickr to keep the quality.
the flap you by the camera on the back shot is where the best skin ever is peeled back slightly. The skin is easy to remove and protects the iphone amazingly.

Having the iPod restored at an Apple store should be free. Just bring your connector cable and attach it to a Mac.
By the way, you're not using a third-party cable, are you? I've had corruption issues because of a crappy cable before.
Do you know anyone else who has a computer you can use to do this restore? Try syncing with their computer and see if it works. If it does, it's something on your computer. (Are you using Windows?)

I heard there's an option in Universal Access to limit the mouse's maximum cursor speed.
Does that apply to games as well ? Anyone try ?
Maybe messing up with that slider might enable a more linear and windows-like mouse acceleration.
OS X's mouse acceleration is known to be really jumpy and annoying. I got used to it for desktop and strategy games (still a bit annoying) but for FPS games they're just unplayable.

I just got my refurbished imac. I wasn't aware that there was something called migration assistant and I'm still not sure exactly how it works. I do have a Macbook Pro and it would be great if I could move everything to my desktop. Since I don't have a firewire cable, i will have to get it tomorrow. Before I try this, though, I wanted to make sure I understand it (and I apologize in advance if this is a really dense question but I am not very technical savvy).
Will the migration assistant basically move everything from my macbook to my desktop? I'm talking software like Adobe CS5 and MS Office along with files?
Any information is appreciated.
Yes it will move everything.
If you have a network cable you can run between the two computers and will be faster than FireWire. You can change the method from FireWire to network.
I used this method to move everything from my 2008 iMac and worked perfectly.

Spent a couple of hours on the new Apple Discussion boards this morning tearing my hair out.
Only three things certain in this life:
Death, Taxes and Change.
Link below might help
https://discussions.apple.com/___sbsstatic___/apple/tutorial/welcome.html
The New forum has rather more options but still a very good resource as long as all the helpers don't get scared away ;)
The old forums hadn't changed for years and was showing it's age..

a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7400 2.16 ghz would fit too, but cost not much less
but a new processor is not really economical with prices of around $250 , but maybe its just because i live in europe where these early minis still sell for quiet a lot , so upgrading the processor and ram brings you above the price of a used mini 08 and 09 models ,and even close to a used 2010 model but i live in europe
so i would look into getting a working and "tested" used one , its more cost effective and processors are the most reliable parts in any computer really so can be bought used without much risk if the seller is serious and has testing facilities

For animating vector files, I would use one of the following tools:
- Adobe Flash
- SwishMax (http://www.swishzone.com/index.php)
- Toon Boom Studio or Animate (http://www.toonboom.com/)
- SmithMicro Anime Studio Pro (http://anime.smithmicro.com/index_pro.php).
Opensource alternative is called Synfig (http://synfig.org/).
Of course, there is Adobe After Effects, but the thing is simply damn too expensive. Maybe if you would buy older version trough eBay, but beware, Intel Macs are supported only from version CS3 and above.

Irony: When playing Scrabble I always get stuck with a letter "Q" I can't use.
You could always turn it over and it becomes a "blank letter" with the ability to change into what ever letter you want. Of course that would be cheating but...

meh you should be fine. Things would upload/download a lot slower so if you do any javascript debugging waiting for a page to load might be frustrating.
It's really a matter of opinion though, saying I could work on those speeds doesn't necessarily mean you could. Those speeds are around, if not slightly slower than typical AT&T 3G speeds.

Your battery life is dependent on many factors, including screen brightness, WiFi, bluetooth, apps/processes/widgets running, etc. PRAM has nothing to do with battery/power/charging issues, so that won't help. Make sure you've properly calibrated, as many are misinformed about the proper procedure. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

Wow they really know how to take all the fun out of a game. That is really dumb. Reminds me of Super Mario Air (?) which was also a similar rom hack. Or is it the same game?

Hey guys I'm not all that computer savvy and have run into a problem. I use my Bluetooth keyboard and track pad for my Mac. Every so often I'll play bejeweled on Facebook and like to use my magic mouse for the game, sometimes if my mouse won't connect I'll restart my computer and it will be connected. Well such was the case this morning but after restarting my computer nothing is connected and I can not get any of them to connect. When I open up the Bluetooth window it will show my keyboard and trackpad connecting and disconnecting every few seconds and even if it says they are connected they do not work. Any help on how I can get them connected again? Thanks guys.
