Her first book, Style A to Zoe, was published in October 2007 by Grand Central Publishing. The stylebook gives tips and observations from Zoe, her designer friends and star clients, on home décor, travel, entertaining and dressing stylishly. It was on The New York Times Bestseller list.

Zoe collaborated with accessories maker Leiber on a line of luxury bags. She has also served as the face of Samsung's BlackJack national ad campaign. She is a consultant for Piperlime.com[1], Gap, Inc's shoe and handbag website. Zoe's influence on her clients' weight has been questioned by the media; in response, Zoe said, "I don't think it's fair to say that I'm responsible because I'm a thin person, that because I'm influencing their style I'm influencing what they eat. There was this crazy rumour that I was getting diet pills from Mexico and distributing them. I was like, 'Okay, I've never even tried cocaine. I don't do drugs — I'm too much of a control freak."[3]

Unlike other stylists, Zoe is known for appearing on the red carpet in gowns just as glamorous as those of her clients. Mario Lavandeira, editor of perezhilton.com, told W magazine, "What I've observed is that if stylists go on the red carpet, they'll make a conscious effort to really dress down in jeans, carrying pins. You don't want to outshine your clients. Rachel dresses as well as her clients, and she'll talk to reporters.”[4]
As of December 4, 2008, her show has been given the go ahead for a second season.
