I dloaded that iphone3,1_4.3.2.zip file. (which was selected when I picked the iphone4, 4.3.2 selection. When I unzip it, there is no .ipsw in it. all I find is a bunch of .dmg files and other folders.
Change the file name from 4.3.2.zip to 4.3.2.ipsw

Today I worked on an 11 and 13" MBA, both both are max'd out spec's, 'ultimate' as we say.
I had 9 web pages open, downloaded photo's from my camera to both machines, browsed the photo's with 'Just Looking' software, used VM Fusion with Win7 loaded on both machines used Microsoft Publisher, move some photo files in DropBox and also played back some 720p video clips ....the 11" is also currently plugged into a 27" ACD, the 13" is not...
The 11" is silent, I haven't heard the fans yet. It's amazing. With all these programs open the only lag I notice is on the 27" ACD when scrolling for example, it's a little choppy. Now, when I close out of Win7 it handles everything, no lag, no fan noise and not too hot.
The 13" on other hand roars doing the same tasks. I don't like that. From reading here I'm thinking it's normal for the 13" ... I could try a SMC/Pram reset I suppose. But I think it's just the way the machine is.
I wonder why? Also, is there something I can do to "safely" control the fan speed without doing damage to the machine. I'm not so sure on the software recommended and under volting etc, I'd rather not do that.
The fact the 11" is so quiet, even running windows is making it appealing over the 13" ... I hate fan noise.

I am using a windows keyboard in bootcamp - so far my only issue has been the reverse controls for @ and "( and how to adjust screen brightness)........but this morning I tried spell check in outlook express which is F10 on microsoft wiondows 4000 keyboard.....it's throwing up every word for spell check even when correctly spelt !!! Any ideas? This will be a major issue of course if unresolved.
Many thanks.

I have to say, I do like the simplified version of the logo that Apple are now using on their website and Apple TV - when do you think this will come across the the other iOS devices?

Take you music off your iPad (use your ipod for music).
16gigs is plenty for apps if you don't put music or videos on your iPad

Forget ARM. It's all about nuclear fusion-powered quasi-organic 'thinking' CPUs. Should be here in about fifty years...

If you ever plan to upgrade your iMac to a newer model, you will most likely get one with TB already built in, thus you can then use the TB port.
But as you have FW800 as fastest port (or Gigabit Ethernet) on your current iMac, get an external HDD with Firewire.
TB HDDs aren't out yet, only announced.

You'll need to create a mouse move event tap using the Quartz Event Services. See this thread for how to set one up.
Set up the tap in your window delegate's awakeFromNib and tear down the tap in your window delegate's windowWillClose:.
Use the following code for the eventsOfInterest parameter of CGEventTapCreate.
CGEventMaskBit(kCGMouseEventDeltaX) | CGEventMaskBit(kCGMouseEventDeltaY)
Pass a pointer to your window as the refcon paramter.
Then code the callback function like this:
CGEventRef eventTapFunction(CGEventTapProxy aProxy, CGEventType aType, CGEventRef anEvent, void *aContext)
{

[QUOTE=TorbX]Once I've posted 500 comments, this tattoo of mine will be my avatar. Until then, It's chillin on my left arm ;-)
You like Linux or just Penguins?
Both... Some people tattoo dolphins and tigers and stuff. I wanted a penguin. Im not an experienced linux-user, but I found this on some linux-sites.
Guess I took it mostly for being a penguin fan ;-)

I'm hoping for the same. At least it sounds more reasonable that it might work than with the previous model. I'll wait a few weeks, then will go for my local Apple service partner to see if they can do it.

They have been called the best UK band of a generation and I would agree. They are THAT good.
If anything they have been underrated for years. They are onto their fifth album so no flash in the pan.
Greatness awaits.

I just made it home, and paid for printing ::sigh::
I guess in the future, I'll just make the .pdf at home and email it to myself; I worry enough about Big Brother logging my internet sessions, I don't need to try and circumvent their filters for something silly. I was hoping there was another site or an app or something.
True true. Probably the safest bet.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my no budget (i.e. $0 dollars spent specifically on it) short film that I shot this weekend. It was filmed on the Canon 5D Mark II using a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens. We shot it in half a day in downtown Austin, TX.
I hope you like it!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VkjSm_OXvEIt was good.
It has a strong message.
Stay away from women because they'll make you drink, then you'll lose everything and eventually, you'll have to buy flowers to beg your mom to let you move back home.

What solution did you find? I am looking for the same thing and don't need everything CADTools includes. Basically just measurements.... I'd be grateful if you'd share the solution you found. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I have made a pure CSS drop down menu for school. I wrote everything by hand. My website works great in Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome but when a bring it to school to be marked, the drop down menu does not work with Internet Explorer. This is because IE does not support the hover tags. Is there any script or alternative things that I can put in the CSS or HTML document to make it work the same in IE as Safari or Firefox?
So I need a script that will make the hover tag work in IE, or any alternative tags I can use so that browser like IE will read my CSS menu right.
Here is the CSS file:
#wrapper {
width:940px;

TiddlyWiki (http://www.tiddlywiki.com/) is a beautiful wiki, written in javascript, and contained in a single html file. I stopped using it because it reports a javascript error in IE (windows - it is intended to be used with firefox though). I really liked the off-shoot GTDTiddlyWiki (http://shared.snapgrid.com/gtd_tiddlywiki.html), but haven't found an update to correct the javascript error (which was being caused by uppercase DIV tags and id's without quote marks. grrrr)
