Wow they really know how to take all the fun out of a game. That is really dumb. Reminds me of Super Mario Air (?) which was also a similar rom hack. Or is it the same game?

this has happened to me too. it occurs when your mac connects with an open wifi connection, like my neighbor's, and their mac is turned on too. They probably can also see your name too. make sure wifi is turned off, or see if you can change settings so it doesnt connect to the first open wifi it finds.

Well i decided to give it a go on my mac pro as folding just freezes up(the SMP client) However, as soon as i started running it i noticed a instant slow down. It was eating up 200 mb of RAM. I only have a tiny 1 gb in this system so i can't spare that. I may give it another go once I buy more ram.....once the money arrives.:D

It's a decent machine for surfing the net, but watch out for flash.
You can't upgrade beyond 10.5 as others have mentioned.
My wife uses a 1.33 ghz iBook G4 for surfing and it's fine.

I already have leopard on pre-order, but I'm thinking about going down for the Free shirt. I feel like Old Orchard at night is usually empty except those who are eating out, so I'm hoping I don't have to get there that early. Were there lines for the iphone release at this store?

How does it run snow leopard? Is it fairly smooth and usable? I'm just concerned about CPU. I'll be upgrading the HDD's, Ram and GPU.
It runs as well as it did the day I got it. And as support is added to make better use of the multi cores it should last for quite some time.

The restore worked but your carriers simcard is not working?
Did you install ultrasnow from cydia to unlock?
Or if you're using it on official carrier you were supposed to uncheck "activate iphone" on the pwnage general settings before you created the custom IPSW.
If you didnt do that and you're on official carrier create another custom firmware and then activate it with your sim by plugging it to itunes.

Thanks, I went to try that today but when I switched on my mac I got a black screen and this flashing message:

There are video editing apps available in the App Store which work on the 1Gen iPad.
Although he mentions 'ipad is pretty great for film making'... maybe he means that it can help with the process [of making films]? Unless he's waiting for refurb iPad2s?
AFAIK you can't engrave refurbs though so OP should think that through.

I noticed improved boot time between SL and Lion, and since the latest DP2 update I went from ~22 sec boot to ~17 sec. Seems like this is something the boys in Cupertino takes seriously, and I like it!
I clock the time from pushing the power button until the OS is loaded and wifi has connected.
How big of a difference is you guys noticing, if any?

I like the animation. Why not fill it in one at a time, or have it show up full at the end of the animation? You could even go so far as to fill it up one apple at a time, then disappear one apple at a time?
I'm full of ideas, I just don't know how to do any of this stuff.... :p

I looked up RipIt and it seems like theres two ways it works. The first is it is ripping the videots folder which basically copies the raw dvd files to your computer. So as you say doesn't compress the video at all. But can also compress on the fly which is what Handbrake only does.
So if you actually are ripping the videots folder then dropping that into Handbrake you are taking an extra step that is not really needed.
You don't gain anything in doing it this way because this is the way I actually used to do it myself.
Whether you are in RipIt or Handbrake just choose a preset to convert to and mp4 that you can then drop into iTunes. It will take about two hours to convert. But thats all you need to do.
In HandBrake use either the "Universal or AppleTV" preset and go. Don't adjust any settings.

It looks like it to me, because the body decrements the 0 to -1, then the third expression increments -1 back to 0, and this keeps going on and on.
The second example will also continue to print also, because i=0, and 0*anything is always 0. Both infinite loops?
